Sarvangadhara is a general term used to define the pouring of medication in any form over the body. Kashaya dhara as it is called is a type of sarvanga dhara type of treatment. Specifically, it is a Parisheka swedana (sweat-inducing / sudation) where streams of medicated kashaya - decoction of herbs boiled in a particular quantity of water are poured over the body, for a prescribed period to induce active sweating.
